Landscapes are a special interest area for me and I enjoy getting out into open spaces to capture them whenever the light and conditions allow. Night landscapes can be challenging but very rewarding. Creating a night landscape usually involves more than one technique; lunar and/or stellar planning, a background landscape and usually some form of light painted foreground subject. I often apply a mild HDR effect to best portray the extreme range of light, colour and contrasts that exist in landscapes.

 

Desert scenes are extremely desolate but often contain such depth of colour, contrast and scale that we are subtly drawn to their stark beauty.

 

Seascapes can convey differing and extreme moods, from peaceful and soft to wild chaotic scenes that combine wind, waves and threatening skies.  

 

Images are shot in RAW and edited in Lightroom and if suitable in Photomatix Pro to produce the best quality high resolution results. Images are for sale and can be printed in various formats for delivery pretty much anywhere. Contact for more information!
